Social work practices and enabling the integration of students from war and conflict zones

Abstract Until recently, few studies have examined international students’ social issues and well-being from war conflict zones. A significant proportion of students in Turkey arrived countries actively engaged conflict; however, it is unclear how work procedures effectively addressed needs ability to cope after migrating. This quantitative study aimed identify the challenges 63 Syrian who recently integrated into Turkey. The investigation took place at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University Turkey, during 2017–2018 academic year. research based on two measurement scales a questionnaire. Results were analyzed using independent t-test samples found that workers faced integrating students. lack participation activities cultural are common problems by these Traditional support methods effective strategies for overcoming new environments. effectiveness intervention reviewed further.
